Monthly
Meetings
The
Guild
meets the third Monday of each month (except in December) at 7:00 p.m.
at the Extension Building next to the Swiftel Center, Brookings, SD
(use the entrance on the east side of the building). Meetings usually
include guild business, a program or special speaker on quilt-related
topics, social time and show and tell. The guild also sponsors
workshops, quilt shop or show tours, quilt challenges, and morning and
afternoon quilt groups. All are welcome - beginners and expert quilters
alike. We share our experiences and learn more about making quilts.
Dues are $15.00 yearly. Please join us and share in the fun!

Community
Service Projects
Members
have fun at work days and weekend retreats creating quilts for Habitat
for Humanity, Quilts of Valor, and victims of fires and other
disasters. In 2005 we gave 25 quilts to area people and sent off 21
quilts of valor to the wounded soldiers. At the present there are
another 20 quilts of valor being made.
